This letterbox is located at the southmost peak of a hill running southwest of Payson. Drive southbound from Payson. Shortly after Gibson Ranch Road is a turnoff/crossover. While the road to the left (east) goes to Jim Jones Shooting Range on FR 375B, you will turn right (west) into a small dirt parking area, adjacent to a fenced restoration area. Park here (N 34° 11.383 W 111° 19.912), go west around the fenced area, then north, crossing the small creek. You will climb up the ridge, which is remarkable in that the ridgeline has been cleared as part of the Payson fire prevention boundary. You will climb to the top of the hill approximately .75 mile from the parking area. The letterbox is located at the top of this hill before it dips down into a saddle and then climbs again. The GPS coordinates are N 34° 11.868 W 111° 20.077 and it is hidden in some rocks adjacent to a small juniper tree.
