This letterbox is found at Evergreen Park, a kid-friendly park near the Lake Hills Library. It is a small haven in our busy city, and is enjoyed by many of the local families who frequent it. It really is magical, Secret Garden.**
The Princess of the Secret Garden has many friends who live among the trees and flowers. One sunny, fall morning, the squirrels and chipmunks were gathering their food in preparation for the long winter that lies ahead. They lost their golden acorn in the enchanted forest beyond the secret garden. You will begin your journey at the bottom of the silver and ruby staircase.
Climb up the small hill, and look through my telescope to try and spot the golden acorn in the enchanted forest ahead of you. Slide down the nearest waterfall. Walk along the path to the summer cottage. Take a quick drink from my fresh water fountain, and follow the dirt trail behind the cottage to your right (heading toward the basketball court).
Stop to smell my beautiful purple flowers or admire the ruby red foliage and leaves in the fall time. Walking along the grass, stay close to the enchanted forest edge. Look for the woodland fairy entrance, between two holly trees.
The squirrels were playing among the trees branches up high, when they dropped their golden acorn. Look high and low among the forest trees to see where it landed. It may be stuck in a crook of a tree with branches surrounding it.
Please help us find our missing acorn!

Please don't remove anything from the letterbox. Please make sure the letterbox is well hidden after you have exchanged stamps and resealed baggies/lids, as some teenagers like to hideout in these bushes after school.
