Lake Henry trail at Soldiers Field.
Start at back of parking lot behind the fields. Take a short path until you get to the trail. Make a right.
Follow the trail around the lake. See three boxed signs stacked. Cross bridge on left and continue around the lake.
Around the back cove of the lake you will see several fallen trees in the water. Continue around.
Go up a slight incline, count about 42 paces after getting to the top. To your right in the hollow you will see a large open mouth stump about 6' high. A few feet to its right is a fallen tree in which the treasure lies.
Continue around lake to get back.
