Rocky Find- A Cartography Stamp near Daisy Ingraham School

This letterbox hunt involves a quick hike across a field and a very short hike into the wood on a Westbrook Land Conservation

*The only wrinkle this hunt involves is that if a baseball/softball team is currently using the diamond you will have to skip steps 2-3 and just use part “b” of step 4. *

1.) Park like you’ll be going to a baseball game. Find a white sign by the gap in the fence.
2.) From that sign and gate head 60 degrees NE to 1 base beyond home plate.
3.) From 1st base go SE 140 degrees for about 16 paces where you will have to stop.
4.) a. Go along fence for ~35 paces back towards the parking lot.
b. stop at the entrance with the “please close gate sign”.
5.) Go on trail past WLCT sign on your right.
6.) Stop at the tallest tree on the trail @ the rock wall.
7.) Turn 60 degrees NE and walk for 4-6 paces on the wall (or next to the wall if you’re worried about falling)
8.) Your destination is under your feet!

Have fun stamping and please replace and cover up with leaves if needed.

* If you haven’t yet, find the companion cartography stamp on the grounds of the Westbrook Public Library.
