In the “Stacks”- A Cartography Stamp near Westbrook Public Library
This letterbox hunt will only take a couple of minutes, but brings you into close proximity to one of the best (and most welcoming) little libraries around. So if you’re not already a regular, and they’re open, spend some time inside after finding the letterbox.
1.) Park in the upper library lot.
2.) Look for where you might “rack your ride”.
3.) From the middle of that structure go 290 degrees NW towards a large library window ~25 paces- stop.
4.) Head 40 degrees NE until connecting with the rock wall.
5.) Look in the bottom of the “stacks” for a very loose stone with a little burrow behind it. There’s the stamp!
Have fun stamping and please replace and cover up with the rock.
* If you haven’t yet, find the companion cartography stamp on the grounds of the Westbrook Land Conservation Trust over on the far side of Daisy Ingraham Elementary School.
