Warnings: Rattlersnakes live here. The container was a peanut butter container So allergy people take care. The rodents that live in the ruins likely carry the Hanta virus. Other than that, watch for lightning.

In Spanish the rock ridge is called the orphan, huerfano. In Navajo it is Dzilth-na-o-dith-hle--the mountain which sits around. The Navajo are said to believe that when people die, an evil part of their spirit, the chiidi, remains behind. So if someone dies in a house, get out of there. Looks like what happened here.

Directions: From I-25 between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, take the Bernalillo exit 242 and head northwest beyond Cuba. From Northwest New Mexico, take 550 south from Bloomfield. At the base of the rock ridge near mile marker 128 turn off at the exit marked with the brown sign to Bisti Badlands. Cross the cattleguard and park by the abandoned buildings.

Clue:
huerfano
DZILTHNAODITHHLE

From the south side of the abandoned stone house, look south for a gLIINgHtI. On its southside, inside post.

Please take back to your car to stamp in so as not to attract attention to the spot. Please rehide in the exact same spot and use the coverstones to completely hide the treasure so that it will be here for the next boxer.

Thanks for playing.
