Follow S. Rogers Street south towards the M-K-T train depots and the Waxahachie Hike and Bike Trail. There is a parking lot on the west side of S. Rogers St. north of the creek. After parking, walk one block east, passing by the train depots and red caboose. To the south of the depots is an open park area, where the Waxahachie Rec and Parks Dept. has just cut down trees and opened up a bunch of the area. Find the middle telephone pole, middle meaning its not the one closest to the creek and not the one closest to the roadway. Follow the guide wire down to the ground. You should see it end in a multi-branching tree trunk. The Wax. Rec. & Parks Dept. created two separate stacks of cut wood. The one around the guide wire hides the ammo can letterbox. The concrete you see around the area are the remnants of the old Interurban Line to Dallas, which ran right through here.
