UPDATE NEEDS TO BE REPLANTED! SORRY FOR INCONVENIENCE are many great legends that add to the mystique of this great nation, but on of the truly great legends happens to revolve around the great town of Manchester by the Sea, Ma. When I first moved to the area I was told by a town historian, "Did you know that John Wilkes Booth is buried here in town"? and continued to tell me that like many other great events in history embroiled in conpracy theories the Assasination of honest Abe Lincoln was no different. It is well know that many well known familys including the Notorious Booth families summered here on the great gold coast.Johns and his brothers all performed as actors for the society elite .Johns brother Junius enjoyed the North Shore So much he lived out his days in Manchester. On April 15 1865 John Wilkes Booth shot and killed Abraham Lincoln and the fled to A near by farm and then was killed at the farm. But its Supposed that he made it out of the faited barn and ended up living out hisdays in Manchester under an alias. and is buried in theis very cemetery! Now go locate him and heres how. Enter cemetery gate where it says 1661 go the diagonal end of the cemetery towards the stone wall and you will find a swingset the John Wilkes Booth is buried right on the other side of the wall toward left of swing set just to right of fallen grave placed against wall...Please Stamp and return to location and then go along the wall up hill until you find a lone grave with the name Henry Lee. Behind the grave to the right buried under small stones in the stone wall lays the body of Abraham Lincoln waiting for Honest Abes revenge!!!!!

Please put back and enjoy.
