This box was planted to celebrate PAL Day (Plant a Letterbox Day) and also because I am quite fond of the subject.

Do a little research to learn the area in which this box is planted and when you get there, follow the clues for "Stalking the Wild Asparagus" until you reach the drainage with the large fallen tree in it. Standing on the path between the two slender trees, look 190 degrees to a long moss covered fallen log that lies at 210 degrees. The box can be found covered with bark and leaves in the middle of the northwest side of the log behind a smaller log with a mossy "claw". Please don't leave a hitchhiker in this box since there is not room for one. Thanks.
To see a real green dragon (in season), continue on the main trail to the next drainage. Look for a little trail at 50 degrees down to the creek bank. There is a patch of the beast at about 85 degrees and a bigger one a little bit farther on at 50 degrees. May and June are the best times to see it, before the surrounding greenery gets taller.

Please let me know if the box is missing or needs maintenance. I welcome your comments.
