From Rt. 10 in Simsbury, go to where the great tower is parallel. Enter the Place of Canals. Drive past the complex until you find a 3 car parking lot on the right-hand side of the street. From the lot enter the trail into the woods in the far right corner. Walk straight until you reach the canal. Take a right. Follow the winding path past another canal and over a beautiful stream. Walk until you reach the spot where water comes out of a giant circular mouth and the rocks are placed like perches of observation. To your right, you will see a large cluster of small boulders. Look in between and find the treasure.
I used to write poetry hereā¦18 years ago. It had been many years since I returned, but this place always remained special. Please enjoy this neat little area and try not to spook the turtles.
