Patrick McGoohan was the star and writer of the 60's British television series The Prisoner, I don't remember if The Village had a golf course or not, but the mean balloon, Rover, would have been a wicked hazard. And the main transportation in The Village was golf carts. If you have not ever watched the episodes, do not for they will warp your personality.
Warning: The city government has paid UNM more than a million dollars to make the area around the golf course an open space easement. Golfers do, however, have the right to play their game with a minimum of bother by the public so please keep off the fairways and greens--going around them only takes a few more steps. When the golfers hit the balls, especially off the tees, do not be surprised if they come at you--stay aware of golfers all around you all of the time. When you come onto a golf course, you assume the responsibility of not getting hit by errant balls so heads up or "Fore".
Directions: From the I-25, I-40 interchange in Albuquerque, take I-40 eastbound towards Santa Rosa. At the first exit, Carlisle, take a right and proceed south. At Indian School, which is the first light with the big red arrow, take a right and head west. After Stanford get in the left lane so that you'll be ready to take the next left on Harvard. At Haines, the first right , turn in and park at the dead end. Walk through the boulders and head south, uphill alongside the fairway of Hole #4. Be aware of errant golf balls. At the top of the hill is a concrete cylinder enclosing a fountain.

Clue: From the H20, 270=sunset, across fairway cottonwood closest to hummock, 2',@180 under un-square root.
Please take the box away from the hidey hole to stamp in so that you wouldn't attract attention to this spot--there're benches at the top of the hill. Please rehide exactly where you found it and completely cover the plastic with bark and stones. Bless it by throwing some dirt over the covering bark and stones so it blends in naturally. It there are golfers at the tee at the bottom of the hill, please walk up the hill and go around the flag so as not to spoil their game.
