This box was played with and then destroyed so it has been replaced and moved.
This letterbox is in memory of Donna, our sister, mother, aunt and friend. Donna left us tragically early in life with a brain tumor. We chose this stamp because Halloween was her favorite holiday. Her home located here in Smithfield always sported many Halloween decorations. As she fought her brain tumor we spent many hours walking through this park and she found comfort here. She is now laid to rest with her daughter Tiffany (Tiffany's Treasure) and her mother Joyce (Grandma's Hummingbird).
Directions to the letterbox, From the west entrance, park in the parking lot. Walk to the 2nd bridge crossing the river. After crossing the bridge proceed to your right. Down by the streams edge by a tree tucked in a crevices you will find Donna's Halloween. Please take the box with discretion and when finished please tuck it way back in the hole so children playing in the water cannot see it. Please enjoy Donna's Halloween
