These boxes are located on Independence Dr. in Shelton. Take Route 108 to Constitution Blvd North. Pass Shelton Intermediate School on your right. Take the first street on your left, which is Independence Dr.
It has been 237 years since the American Colonies declared their independence from Great Britain. Let us celebrate with picnics, concerts, fireworks, prayer and gratitude for our great country and our freedom. Once on Independence Dr, look for the electric transmission towers on either side of the street. Turn your car around and park on the side of the street with the fire hydrant. At the point of the fire hydrant, a path cuts up the hill to the left. Follow the path straight up, where you will see a white rock among the tall grass. Make your way over to the rock, and look under the stones at the left front base of the white rock for Box 1.
Sorry, Great Britain, you lost the War for Independence. Once our foe, now our friend, so we must remember you, too, on this independence day. Perhaps someone is having Beef Wellington at their picnic. Now return to your car and, heading back the way you came, drive down the street to Wellington Court, which is on your left. Box 2 is hidden under the large rock on the corner that is next to a cement post. Please use stealth and re-hide well.
Happy Fourth of July 2013!!!
