Robert Louis Balfour Stevenson (13 November 1850 -- 3 December 1894) was a Scottish novelist, poet, essayist, and travel writer. His most famous works are Treasure Island, Kidnapped, and Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. His famous children's book is "A Child's Garden of Verses" a collection of poetry which first appeared in 1885 under the title Penny Whistles and reprinted many times, often in illustrated versions. It contains about 65 poems including the cherished classics "Foreign Children," "The Lamplighter," "The Land of Counterpane," "Bed in Summer," "My Shadow" and "The Swing."

Clue: Begin at Oak Park's Main Pumping Station. This station, overhauled in 1996 keeps our water flowing when you turn on your faucet. Just East ascend to a view where you might partake in America's favorite past time. To your right you'll see small fence enclosure around an air intake pipe for the pumping station. Head out to 1st base. From there go South towards the azure triangle. Before you reach it you'll find a fake square. At least when there isn't snow on the ground. Regardless, orient yourself Eastward. Walk until you catch the M525, a children's favorite. From it's terminus head northerly until the skill of reading is at your finger tips. Nearby you'll find a "speaker box" facing "Old Glory". Make your way around to its base where you'll find a sadly defaced monument to the Gold Star Men of the World War similar to others in all the Author Parks. Descend northwards. Zig until you meet Humphrey. While zagging ponder the northerly sum of Rose + Zen. Follow Humphrey as he leaves the Lake on his way south. March your Rosy sum and you'll find an illuminating pinnacle. Search for Birch's trio within sight. Behind the middle, pale guardian of the wall you'll find a stone mound hiding what you seek.
