This letterbox was placed in memory of Lucas by his loving family. Lucas was born with down syndrome and suffered from a common heart defect. He was our little angel but was only able to stay with us for 17 short days. We heard about the Angel Garden at the Provo cemetery and felt this was the best place for him, surrounded by other little souls taken far too soon.
Directions to the letterbox, enter the Provo City Cemetery at the south entrance (not the main entrance). Take the left path at the fork and park near the first light post on the right side. Looking to your right you will see the Angel Garden. This part of the cemetery is set apart for infants and children. They are watched over by a beautiful Angel statue. The letterbox is hidden in the Angel display. The box is hidden below the the angels outstretched arms in a bush right at her feet be careful the grounds keepers will re,move it if they find it so hide it well. Please be sure to be discreet and re-hide the best you can.
