The trail on the north side of Loon you must take,
Brice-Breon it is called; on your right is the lake.
The path is well-worn, and surrounded by trees,
plants and rocks. Sometimes there's a breeze.
When you reach a cross-path junction,
The trail to the south (right) has a good function.
It leads to a campsite, perfect for lunch.
So bring some goodies for a quick little munch.
Take a few steps ahead on the main trail. You'll see
On your left the remains an old sawed-off tree.
Near the base of the trunk, a round birch bark sleeve
Conceals the letterbox for you to retrieve.
(Be sure to put everything back in the box, seal it tight
and carefully re-hide it. Thank you!)
