This box is a little off the beaten path but worth it to see this unique natural wonder. Located in the Redberry Lake biosphere, take hwy. 40 14.4 km west of Hafford, sk or 54km East of North Battleford, then take Flint Rd. 16km North, turn East and go another 2.5km ( there are small signs).
I would recommend googling Crooked Bush and reading up on some of the local story's about Crooked Bush, they can be very entertaining :)
Once you park, enter the grove and follow the boardwalk east until you reach a wide square area. Right in the south west corner ( where the board walk you walked meets the boardwalk headed south) there is a tree ( surprise, surprise) at the base of this tree on the west side is the box, covered with leaves and sticks.
There is no ink in this box, please bring your own. This location has a picnic area and outhouse so you may enjoy bringing a lunch.
