Make your way to Dancyville, TN, a cute, blink and you will miss it town about half way between Jackson and Memphis, TN. Turn off Dancyville Road, just North of Highway 76, following the sign to the Historic Dancyville United Methodist Church. This quaint church stands as the oldest United Methodist Church Building in West Tennessee, with the deed to the church given on April 1, 1835. It stands as one of the few surviving examples (only six remaining) of Antebellum Church architecture in West TN. You might notice, there are two entrance doors to the sanctuary. Originally, the northern door was designated for use by women only. The church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
To find the box, facing the front door of the church, the box is to your left, down the gravel driveway. Head down the driveway until you get to the blue water valve with red sign posts. Take 20 steps back in the direction of the church, then look into the woods to see a concrete slab the size of a tombstone laying on the ground. The box is between the corner of the concrete and the closest tree, under leaves and a rock.
