Hike Distance?
Last EditedJul 2 2016

Walk difficulty: easy, a fairly flat paved trail
Distance: very short, about 1/6 mile one way
Stamp hand-carved
Status: alive and well on May 23, 2016

From I-64 eastbound, take Exit 9, cross Hwy K and continue straight on road to MO St. Hwy. 94. Turn left on Hwy. 94, then right on Missouri Research Park Dr. (the right turn is before I-64). From westbound I-64, take exit 10, turn left on MO St. Hwy. 94, cross the freeway and then turn left on Missouri Research Park Dr.

Continue on Missouri Research Park Dr. to the end (at Duckett Creek Sanitary District plant #2) eventually seeing brown signs titled “Busch Greenway – Missouri Research Park Trail”. Park at the trailhead (at Duckett Creek Sanitary Park) (Webpage: Missouri Research Park Trail: Katy Trail to Missouri Research Park spur).

Walk south on the paved trail following the black metal fence on the right side. At the end of the fence go at about 82 degrees (from mag. north) for about 16 steps into the woods to a fallen tree. The box is behind “y” section formed by a sawed off limb. It is under a flat rock covered with some plant debris.

Please please be sure the contents are double ziplocked when you put them back in the box (i.e. the stamp is in a ziploc, the book is in a ziploc, and the two are in the larger ziploc bag). Please put the lid on tight. Please rehide the box well under the rock and covered with twigs and other plant debris so that it can not be seen from any direction.

Contact me if the box needs attention:
