Born in 1590, William Bradford was one of the founders of Plymouth colony in 1620 and a signer of the Mayflower Compact. He served as the colony's governor for more than thirty years, and wrote "Of Plymouth Plantation," one of the first histories of European settlement in the New World. He died in 1657 and is buried in Burial Hill, where this letterbox resides.

Directions:
From Main St (3A) go south on S Russell St to parking area by back entrance to Burial Hill Cemetery.

Clues:
Walk through entrance and up asphalt path on left to T jct by grave of William Crowe on right. Go left 10 steps on path to just past a garbage can then right 6 steps to a large tree. Minibox is at back base under rocks, sticks and leaves. The Bradford grave is nearby so be discreet and replace as described.
