This is a double treat - two beautiful flower boxes. Your starting point is the "deer" letterbox in Cabin John Park. (Details below).

Once you find the deer box, continue along the path 80 more paces. Then turn around and walk 9 steps, followed by on step forward. Look for a tree that sticks into the path, then continue about 22 more paces. You will pass the a small narrow path on your right. Continue 34 more paces and you will find a decaying stump on the left. Look under a pile of sticks an d you will find the Two Flowers! A hint: If you follow the path beyond the tree routes that stick out of the ground, you have gone too far.

Here is the starting point:
"Deer" Box
This letterbox can be found in the Cabin John Regional Park. Enter the park on Westlake Drive at the entrance to the ice rink and ball fields. Park in the first parking lot and walk down the road towards fields 5 and 6. Turn right onto the paved service road (authorized vehicles only)that goes behind the ball field and tennis courts. After you pass the first light post on the left, you will see a thin V-tree ahead on the left near the road. Go to the tree and turn left on the narrow deerpath there. Follow the path until it meets another path, cross over this path, 9 more paces you will cross over the gravel path. Continue on the dirt path (you will see the fence for the ball field on the left) another 70 paces until you come to a large V-tree on the left side, several steps off the path. This is where you will find the deer in the park. It hides under sticks on the right side of the tree.
