Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Microbox: 10 yards
This box is placed at one of the newest Texas Wineries, La Cruz de Comal. Though bottling for about nine years, and distribution to very nice eating establishments, the tasting room is new this year. Great building. Wine maker does the tasting, and plan on spending some time here listening to him and enjoying his wines. Only open on weekends, and pricy ($15 tasting), but worth it!!!
Directions: From Startzville, go southeast on FM 2673 for a few miles, then right onto FM 2722. Go about 1 mile or 2 and look for winery sign on right. Comes up quick and is sharp turn to right, so be careful. Drive down and park on left in parking area, near the small building (restroom).
To the Letterbox:
Go taste. When leaving, go to the small building. Go to left side and follow the lined rock edging to the end at a tree. Box is under smaller rock at end next to the tree.
