BACK AGAIN for 2013 Trick-or-Treating!
This series is suitable for the littlest boxers, but available to all.
These boxes were planted especially for my 6-year-old twin grandson letterboxers, BooBoo and BumBum, at the Monster Mash Event on October 6, 2012 and remained in place through Hallowe'en of 2012 BUT THEY'RE BACK for October of 2013, so if you didn't snag them last year, you have another chance.
*They will remain in place only through Hallowe'en -- October 31, 2013, or maybe a bit longer*
The only logbook for this series is in the LAST box.
You can do the whole series with a black stamp pad, but brown and red markers are nice for boxes 2 and 3.
READY, SET, GO!
Start at the end of the pavilion facing the field.
Head down to the water fountain.
Walk through the short hallway and around to the other side of the little brown building.
Look down in the basement under a black rock. Now you're set to go!
HOUSE #1
The first house is made of stone. Walk across the field to the stone wall. Count the big stones along the bottom row. Knock on the door at #9.
HOUSE #2
Go back to the start of the rock wall. Go up the slope and walk between the top of the rocks and the fence -- all the way to the end of the block.
Turn around and start counting from that end. Knock on the door between #7 and #8.
NOT THIS HOUSE!
Walk downhill on the paved trail.
Just around the curve, go right down a steep narrow dirt trail and then climb the tall steps up to the top.
Go across the cement towards the benches. Follow the trail off to the left.
Go down the steps. Stop at the bottom.
Turn around and reach under the right side of the bottom step. Be sure to cover up again with leaves.
BOO!
Go back towards the pavilion and find the firepit.
At the opening in the fire pit wall, step up onto the wall.
If you can count to 31, step up facing away from the pavilion and take 31 steps along the the top of the wall.
If you can't count to 30, step up on the wall facing the pavilion and take 3 steps along the top of the wall.
Step down on the inside of the circle and check in a hole in the wall where you stepped down, behind a loose rock.
Pleeease try to hide it behind rocks and leaves again when you're done.
If you know what you'd like to be for Hallowe'en, make a note of it in the log book.
