Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge is a beautiful peaceful spot with ponds, gardens, and more. Remember, it is also a cemetery so be respectful when searching for this letterbox.

Enter the main gates on Mount Auburn Street. If you'd like a map, you can get one at the Visitor Center on your left or in one of the kiosks on your right. If you drove, make sure you park in an area that allows parking.

Walk down the main road past the Visitor's Center and take a left onto Fountain Ave, which has a green line down the center.
Follow Fountain Ave all the way to Halcyon Lake.
Continue onto Halcyon Ave (a slight left).
When you see the Mary Baker Eddy Memorial sign on your left, turn left and descend the three stairs down to the pond.
Take a right and follow the path along the pond. You'll pass under a willow tree.
Continue on this path. When it turns to the left, you'll see the pond before you and the Mary Baker Eddy memorial (a white monument with columns) on your right.
Walk toward the pond, there's a small tree directly in front of in; keep your eye out for a break in the bushes on your left. Be careful as the bushes might be overgrown.
Walk into this break, going closer to the pond.
Take a left and find a large tree on your left. There's a marker on it that reads Dawn Redwood, but it may be difficult to see depending on the growth.
Look at the base of this tree to find the letterbox.
