lyrical inspiration:
Pretty soon you'll be able to remember her
Lying in the garden singing
Right where she'll always be
The door is always open

This is the place that I loved her
And these are the friends that she had
Long may the mountain ring
To the sound of her laughter
And she goes on and on

In her soft wind I will whisper
In her warm sun I will glisten
'Til we see her once again
In a world without end

We owe it all to Frank Sinatra
The song was playing as she walked into the room
After the long weekend
They were a lifetime together

Appearing in the eyes of children
In the clear blue mountain view
The colouring in the sky
And painting ladders to heaven
And she goes on

In her soft wind I will whisper
In her warm sun I will glisten
'Til we see her once again
In a world without end

In her soft wind I will whisper
In her warm sun I will glisten
And I always will remember
In a world without end
She goes on
She goes on
She goes on

find the box:
Head to Remembrance Gardens at Riverbend Church. It is located on the south side of Loop 360 where it intersects Cedar Street. Remembrance Gardens is a cemetery for cremation ashes. Follow the signs to the gardens and park at the very back of the parking lot. Enter the main gate (open from 7 am to 6 pm). Pass through the rose garden. Veer right to cross a wooden footbridge with a large waterfall on your left. Step onto the crushed granite path. On your left is a statue of a happy family. Go to a double-trunked tree in the middle of the gravel path. Directly to your left is the gabled Memorial Pavilion. At the end of the stone ramp from the pavilion is a 5-trunked tree on your left. From there go about 10 more steps so you are standing in the center of a circle ringed with flagstone where the gravel is raked into a spiral. Head up the steps to your left. At the top landing there will be a marker on your left that reads "Riverbend Church Stephen Minister Memorial Wall". Go up 3 more steps from there. Curve right as you pass a small waterfall on your left. Continue to the end of the stone path at this level. Go up 4 stone steps on your left to a circular overlook. At the edge of the circle, along the upper path, is a bench. If you are facing the bench, there are some karst boulders behind it with a clump of trees directly behind them. Look behind the rock on the right, between the boulder and the base of the tree. You will find the box behind some smaller rocks. Be sure to recover well because the groundskeepers are vigilant. And of course be respectful of the interment sites.
