This is our first letterbox placed!!!!

Start at Sprague River Park. Drive into parking lot and park by the sign that explains the history of the Baltic Dam. Take the trail to the right, by river. Arrive at a sign that explains the history of the headrace. Towards headrace there is a big maple tree in clearing. Take 5 steps from the tree to a rock with a large bolt sticking put of it. Look behind the rock for the "O".
Head back past the sign and take the somewhat hidden trail along the river. You will pass a 3 sister tree on your left close to the river. Stand in the path with the 3 sister tree to your left. Approximately 15 steps straight on the path you will find a small stump on your right. Behind that stump you will find the "M.
Continue on path. You will come to a small clearing with a leaning tree to form a triangle. Continue on path a few more feet and to your right will be a tangle of vines around a tree. At the base of the tree and vines you will find the "G". There is a lot of twigs and branches and the base.

Please don't rush and take time to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Turn around and head back.
