A steep trail worth the effort
Easy find Hand carved stamp
Daily fee or state pass

The box is missing but the visit is worth while.

The park is between Payson and Pine on Rt. 87 approx.10 mi N of Payson

A great place to spend a day hiking and a picnic.
At 183 feet high over a 400 foot tunnel, the bridge is believed to be the the largest natural travertine bridge in the world.
A lot of interesting information about it can be found on the State Parks web site.

There are guided tours daily at 10 & 1 so time your search accordingly
Go to the Bridge trailhead and take the stairs (4) down to the 1st landing. On the right will be an old bent over tree with about a 2' trunk. As you look at the tree to your left under dirt and rocks is the box.
Let us know the condition.
