If there's snow or ice this box is probably too dangerous to try for. That's a long way down there if you slip and fall.
"The best laid plans of mice and men gang aft agley" Robert Burns
Which explains why the mouse resembles an opossum or wombat more than a mousie.
This is a letterbox, not a geocache. Please do not take the stamp and leave no trinkets. Bring your own ink.
Letterboxing is a game of hidden treasure so please do not leave any part of the letterbox exposed when you rehide it. Put rocks around it so that it blends in naturally and only those who are looking for it will likely find it.
On Highway 60/77 at mile marker 297 many stop and look over at the scenic overlook. From the Becker Plaque, about a Sweet age number(what age is sweet) of steps maptopwards (conventionally) along what China has a Great one of, there's a Liberty Bell type deformity at the angle. Crossing the wall there takes care and probably shouldn't be attempted in snow or rain or the dark. The path down towards SE prickly pear is a little steepy. That boulder that people use to check their motion right before crashing into the cactus has a letterbox underneath its SW corner.
Happy hunting.
