USFS road 30N56 runs into an OLD Cal Trans mix pit ( a big flat, now used for burning brush piles). The road continues at the SW end of the flat. From Where the road drops down, go about 24 paces. Turn WSW and you'll see a broken off tree that stands about 5' tall. Look under the tree top.
