Kids these days! They don't know anything about love and romance. They don't know how to woo a girl. Nowadays it's all about e-mails and texting and Facebook status updates. Well, in my day we didn't have any of that. We didn't have cell phones and on-line dating, but we still fell in love and got married. This stamp is designed to show kids how it's done. Maybe they'll learn something from it.
Find the signs for Canoe Access on Chapin Rd. (You'll be looking for the stone wall.) Park here and head down the trail past the kiosk. This trail will be following the Assabet River behind Hudson High School. Hopefully the students will learn a thing or two about romance. As you walk along the trail, you will pass a boat ramp, cross a wood bridge, step over a stone wall, cross another wood bridge and finally walk over a bridge of wooden pallets. Eventually you will reach a portion of the path that is very rocky. When you reach this area, stop and look to your right. There is a large quadruple trunk tree several steps off the path. It is within this tree that you will find the stamp. After stamping in, please be sure to hide it carefully.
