This box is within the Tyler Mill Preserve. AKA the muddy river recreational area. You will be parking at a soccer field on Woodhouse Ave or Rt 150, Woodhouse field #2, here are directions:
From the south:
•Take I-91 North to Exit 14.
•Take a right off the exit onto Woodhouse Ave.
•Continue over the railroad tracks for about a half mile.
•Woodhouse 2 will be on the right.
From the north:
•Take I-91 South to Exit 14.
•Take a right off the exit and then a quick left onto South Airline Road.
•At the next light, take a left.
•Continue over the railroad tracks for about a half mile.
•Woodhouse 2 will be on the right

Once you park you will need to cross the street (be careful please!) and go over the guardrail. You will see a sign for the Tyler Mill blue trail on a tree. You will be taking the black trail on your left. The black blaze is painted onto a pale blue blaze (I assume this is so the black stands out on the trees), so it looks like a black blaze with a pale blue outline. The muddy river will be on your left as you travel the trail. You will see a rocky ledge up high on your right. The trail will go up a steep incline, be careful as it can be slippery. You will come to an intersection of blue and black, stay straight/rightish on black. Continue as trail begins to go downhill. Shortly you will see a tree directly in front of you with 2 horizontal parallel black blazes. Go through the stone wall on your left and an immediate left onto an unmarked well worn bike trail. You will continue on this unmarked path going up hill, curvy rocky terrain. When this trail makes an 90 degree turn to the left going downhill stop and you will see a large 2 sister tree in front of you, this used to be a 4 sister tree but 2 have fallen. Facing this tree site 230. In this direction about 35 feet into the woods you will see a 2 sister tree with a "cave" formed from its roots and base. You may have to bushwack a bit in the summer months to get to it. In the "cave" under leaves and stones you will find ode to a new friend. If you look up our other box "ode to an old friend" you will understand this stamps meaning. After stamping go back to unmarked trail and continue to follow until it adjoins with the blue trail, Go right onto the blue trail. Stay on the blue trail and this will take you back to the beginning and where you parked. Make sure to check out the other letterboxes on this trail system, Unleashed Lucy and The Morris Rock Vista! HAVE FUN!
