I am a member of a K-9 Search & Rescue team (Buckeye Search & Rescue Dogs). It has become a great passion in my life (unlike letterboxing which is considered an addiction. lol) I am placing a series of letterboxes to commemorate the various breeds of search dogs we use. This cache is in honor of the original “search engine”, the bloodhound. My bloodhound goes by the name of Dixie.

***This letterbox is also a geocache/navicache hybrid so bring some trade items if you please.***

Directions: About 3.5 miles east of Manchester (Adams County) Ohio on U.S. 52 is a parking area and monument for the Buckeye Station. Park here. Bring ink pad and pen.

Clues: Start at the steps. Up the hill till you come to an old driveway. Follow drive NW. Continue through a crossing of another similar overgrown drive. You will find a large tree growing out of a steep bank on the NW of the intersection. The letterbox is on the NE side of the tree under some very old & rotten saw cut wood.
