This letterbox is hidden in the caves at Stonehill College. What started as a photography project ended up as a letterbox! After entering the campus at the Belmont Street entrance, continue up the road until you see the football field up on the left. Across from it is a large parking lot behind the Macphaidan Library. ... park there.
Once you walk around to the front of the library, you will find a brick path that leads all over campus. Follow that path straight to the large clock in the center of campus. If you look to your left, you will now see Donahue Hall up on the hill. Walk towards that, and take a right when you get to the sidewalk. You will continue past Duffy Academic Center on your right, followed by a parking lot. Once you get past that, you will take a right up on St. Andre Drive. You'll pass the Dining Commons, Villa Theresa Hall, Notre Dame DuLac Hall, and Corr Hall on your right. You will arrive at the last building, New Hall, which looks like a little hotel. On your left, right across from the building, is a wooded area. There is an opening with a dirt path.
Take that path until you get to a fork - take the fork to the left. It winds a little, but you will take not the first but the second path on the right. This should take you to the top of the rocky hill. Once you are at the very top, look down through the trees - you should see a neighborhood of houses. In that direction, look down the hill a little bit, and you will spot a fallen tree. The letterbox is hidden under there.
