Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 0.5 mile RT)
Status: alive
Stone Oak Park is a great place to walk your dog, with doggy bags and water fountain provided, or to walk alone. Either way you can have it made in the shades by finding this box.
Directions:
From Loop 1604 go north on Hwy 281 to Stone Oak Pkwy. Go left for about 1.5 mile and turn right into north side of Stone Oak Park.
Clues:
Walk on main trail past several side trails to Bear Cave on the right. Continue a little further to where an old road joins the trail on the left with chain across it. Go on this road to just before it dead ends at the levee and look left for a group of boulders 10 steps to your left. The minibox is within a crack at top of farthest boulder under rocks and leaves and in the shade of a small multi-trunk tree.
