This letterbox was placed in memory of my four legged baby named CJ. Sept. 16, 2013 was the last time I got to camp with CJ here at Hagan-Stone or anywhere, CJ passed away at the age of 15 1/2 years old Oct, 23 2013. If camping here, locate Group Site #3. From the parking lot, walk toward the water, (Lake #2) follow the trail to the right side of the lake. This is Dogwood/Draper Trail. You will come to a small bridge, cross this bridge and turn left. You will come to a bench on your left. Sit on this bench facing the woods. Straight ahead but slightly to your left approximately 20 steps from the bench you will see a pine and an oak that almost form a "V", behind the pine my Camp Memory of CJ will be.
If not camping here, park in the parking area across the street from the park office that is near the chapel. Walk toward the water, you will see a sign for the Harold M. Draper Jr. nature trail. Follow this to the left until you come to a bench on your right. Sit on this bench facing the woods. Straight ahead but slightly to your left approximately 20 steps from the bench you will see a pine and an oak that almost form a "V", behind the pine my Camp Memory of CJ will be.
