Traveling from the St. Louis Arch or City Museum. Depart I-64 W / US-40 W in St. Louis. At exit 34A, take ramp right and follow signs for Clayton Rd / Skinker Blvd. Keep straight onto Clayton Rd. Arrive at 6300 Clayton Rd, Saint Louis, MO 63117 on your left.
Enter the front door and notice the red telephone booth on your left. Continue through the double doors into the lobby (Say 'Hi' to Justin or Tony for us!) Notice the real letter box (known in the US as a mailbox) just to the right of the front desk. Continue into the lobby past the big, furry animal on your right, then continue to this path to the wall. Turn left & walk 14 paces past the elevators to the credenza against the wall. Explore this credenza to find a box disguised as a book which has a 'room key' inside.
Please leave a note in the journal telling our Girl Scouts where you are from. The girls are excited to check back in the years to come!
The wonderful people at the Cheshire encourage you to ask about the history of the hotel. What an education our Girl Scout Troop recieved when we visited! Thank you!!!
