I placed this letterbox in one of my favorite parks, which is actually a chain of parks that span the Euless triangle, from I-121 to I-360. The City of Euless has done an amazing job developing and maintaining these parks to glorify the natural attributes that the bear creek area has to offer. Although I have noticed these parks becoming more and more popular over the years, I still think of them as a hidden jewel and even many close by residents aren't aware of how large this chain of parks are.

Enter the Bob Eden park entrance off Mid-Cities (Cheek-Sparger) Blvd. near the corner of Mid-Cities and Industrial blvd.
go to the eastern side of the parking lot and park. Pass the handicap parking and take the wide cement path heading south. Note the memorial plaque for Bob Eden and continue on the path passing the memorial. As you pass the tennis courts (on your left) continue on the wide bike trail. Pass by centerfield and look for the doggy sanitation site on your right. Take the smaller concrete path going east. Before getting to the rock retaining wall on the right of the trail, find the wooden post light. From the trail, look past the right side of the post and climb the hill curving to the left, 16 paces to the backside of the wall. On your left you will find a large hollowed out tree. The letterbox is in the hollow of the tree. Please be careful when reaching in the tree and watch out for poison ivy.

I will try not to spoil the surprise but...this stamp is dedicated to the, in my opinion, most important and most abused farm animal. Modern farming and gardening practices are destroying this species.
