Woodland Cemetery
Coal Grove, Ohio
This cemetery is reported to be haunted by several ghosts. One is the ghost of a ballerina. It is reported that on full moon nights you can see her dancing outside her mausoleum.
Directions: Take Coal Grove exit off U.S. 52 east of Ironton. Turn left onto Carlton-Davidson Lane. Follow lane and turn right just past the Coal Grove Town Hall/Fire Station. Go into Woodland Cemetery on your left.
Clues: Take the most western road in the cemetery. You will pass a Veterans Memorial with two civil war era cannons. Continue north till you come to two more cannons flanking a monument that reads "Silent Guardians". Look for the marker for James Finley.
Look in the old hollow stump behind the marker.
