From Lubec, take the South Lubec Road toward Quoddy Head State Park. In 2.7 miles, turn right onto Boot Cove Road. Continue 2.4 miles to the parking area on the left.
From the parking lot...
Pass two rocks down the trail to the right, it will be a pretty sight.
Trek across two "bridges" to the trail map. Don't forget to sign in!
Stay straight ahead at the junction, a windy little trail with two boards you will find, and then one long board for a longer time.
As you get to the beach, look to your right and see the tree that points to the sea.
It leans to the left, so turn to the left and see three spruces.
The branches of the spruce on the left point to a dead spruce stump.
Pass a log by this old tree. There you will find a place that I may be!
