“LEST WE FORGET - HONORING ALL WHO SERVED”
Let us remember the service of our veterans, and let us renew our national promise to fulfill our sacred obligations to our veterans and their families who have sacrificed so much so that we can live free!
CLUE:
Orem City Cemetery (1500 North 800 East, Orem, Utah) has a wonderful Veterans Memorial.
• To get to the Orem Cemetery you will travel on N State Street to 1200 north. At the Stop Light turn east.
• Drive east to the second (2) Stop Light at 800 east.
• Turn left (north) and drive pass the soccer field & Murdoch Trail on the right.
• Turn on the next right to the entrance to the Oren Cemetery. As you enter the cemetery the road forks. Take the left fork.
• Drive east to the Veterans Memorial. Park at the memorial and bow you head and say a silent pray in Honor of the Veterans buried in the cemetery.
Behind the “Veterans” Statue (eastside) you will see a rock wall. Stand at the rock wall and look south. You will see a bush at the end of the cement walk by the last rocks of the wall.
Look behind the bush on the east side and you will find a large flat rock holding up the rest of the rock wall. There is crack between the rocks on top of the flat rock. Feel inside the crack and you will find a camo letter pouch.
Log your find at AtlasQuest and LBNA and please let me know if there are any concerns with this letterbox.
