Missoula is a wonderful city with pleanty to do outside. One fo the popular attractions is the historic Fort Missoula with it's peek into our history. On the west end of the fort, between the museum's building and the military museum there is a beautiful green area with a gazebo and an iris garden, lovely in spring.
Go to the Iris Garden. Find the East facing arch. To the southside of the arch there is a rose bush climbing up the arch. Just beyond it is a large shrub. Between the roses and the shrub you will find a pile of rocks. Under one of the larger ones you will find Missoula Iris Garden.
