GoneSwimmin At Sawyers
Head up Sawyer River Road from Route 302. Be careful on this road, it is narrow in places, with a steep drop off on your left.
After 1.3 miles, you will see a driveway on your left. Park near this driveway.
After stepping over the gate blocking the driveway, look to your left and down. Here you will see an old safe left over from the heyday of Livermore. Look inside the safe and under a rock for the prize.
After replacing the letterbox, walk down the driveway and toward the right. You will come to a nice shallow pool in Sawyer River that is kid friendly. For the more adventurous, wade across the river and travel downstream along the riverside. There are some deeper pools and rocks that you can slide down into the pool.
