Three Peaks Recreation Area is located about 10 miles northwest of Cedar City. The area's rolling hills and volcanic rock formations provide fantastic terrain for picnicking, camping, bike riding and off- road vehicle use.
DIRECTIONS:
North on Minersville Hwy. At Midvalley Rd. turn left (west).
OR
Head west on Hwy. U-56 from Cedar City to Lund Hwy; head north for about five miles to Mid-Valley Rd., then west for about two miles.
On the right is an old style log fence, then the entrance to Three Peaks Park. Continue past the entrance, to the OHV/ATV staging area. Park in the parking lot, at the west end.
CLUES: There is landscaped island. Go to the tallest boulder with a small loose rock.
Please zip all bags and pouch closed and rehide well.
