Joe Tinker was born in 1880 and made his major league debut in 1902 playing shortstop for the Chicago Cubs. He helped the team win four pennants and two World Series championships between 1906 and 1910. He was known for his good defense and became famous for being part of the great double-play combination with teammates Johnny Evers and Frank Chance that was immortalized as "Tinker-to-Evers-to-Chance" in the poem "Baseball's Sad Lexicon". After baseball he moved to Orlando where he died in 1948 and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, where this box is located.
Directions:
From Hwy 408 go south on Mills Ave then left on Greenwood Street to Greenwood Cemetery. Go straight at first 2 intersections then bear right at end of Section L and park by grave of Joe Tinker on right.
Clues:
Walk behind his grave 20 steps to a large oak tree. Go right 5 steps to a bush and find minibox within middle under sticks and leaves. Please replace as described and be discreet.
