This box is located in Elmore State Park. There is a modest day-use fee during the regular operating season(Memorial Day-Columbus Day). You can park at the trailhead, or, in the off-season, at the lower parking lot. These clues begin at the trailhead.
Begin up the main trail, and when you come to the intersection of the Fire Tower and Ridge trails, turn right onto the Ridge Trail. Follow this trail over the bridge, and soon you will come to a double stream crossing(one or both may be dry in summer).
Immediately after the streams, the trail begins to ascend. At the very beginning of this ascent, there is a grouping of boulders on your left. There are three large ones in the center, with smaller ones to the left and right.
Looking at the rocks from the trail, your prize can be found on the right-hand side, where large rock 2 meets large rock 3.
Hike length: 2-3 miles
