Maryvale's Girl Scout Troop 6924 worked hard to earn their hiking badge and letterboxing badge. This is their first letterbox placed to earn these badges. Great Job Girls!!
Enter Black Hills Regional Park and drive straight to the back of the park. Turn right onto picnic lane (follow the dog exercise signs). Take the first left into the parking lot and park there. Look NW across the street you were just driving on and go to the path that leads to exercise station #1. Continue along the paved path past the next exercise stations until you reach the "circle body rings" station. Standing at the station sign look towards the woods and lake. Walk 65-75 paces into the woods. Scout out your grrrrly treasure at the base of a tree just behind a large fallen tree. Have Fun!!
