Trees serve as natural air filters, exchanging carbon dioxide for oxygen and removing pollutants such as exhaust fumes and smoke particulates. You can find plenty of them at the South Hills Conservation Area, along with this box.

Directions:
From TX 1 go east on William Cannon Dr about 0.5 mile then turn left on Brodie Ln. Go about 0.5 mile and turn right on Oakdale Dr. Go about 0.5 mile to dead end and park on side of street but don't block private drives.

Clues:
Walk to private drive on left side of dead end and find trail on right side. Follow it north into the Sunset Valley Nature Area and along a creek to a T jct. Go right across the creek and bear right on other side to South Hills Conservation Area. At Y jct near sign go right, again following the creek, to another Y jct. Go left and quickly come to another Y jct with steps. Go left and up to a T jct with scenic viewpoint a few steps to the left, but you go right 10 steps to a cedar tree on the left with sign about dogs on leash. Letterbox is at back base under rocks and needles.
