Use the parking lot on Perkins Street to access the trail head.
Take the trail to the left going down into the glacier bowl. Keep going straight pass a large grey hippo on your right and continue to the base of the hill. Head up the hill to the benches (you may want to take a breather). With your back to the hill you just climbed, take the trail to the right. Meet the tree that makes 3. Turn left on the white trail. Pass the 10, that's your friend. Pass the 9, you are doing fine. Pass the 2 fallen trees, don't trip please. Find the 8 that's great. The 8 will get you to your destin8ion. 12 paces to the left will take you to Paul Bunyan's giant toe print. If you continue pass the giant toe print you will find trees that mark an X. This is where we pitched our Troop's letterbox tent.
