This Letterbox was placed the evening before Juliette Gordon Low’s birthday. She was born on October 31, 1860, and founded Girl Scouts on March 12, 1912. Did you know her birthday was on Halloween? On her birthday in 1925, Juliette "Daisy" Low wrote a note:
“To You, Girl Scouts: As you gather in your troops … think of the girls around the world who are our sister Girl Scouts and Girl Guides. Truly ours is a circle of friendships, united by our ideals.”
