My wife and I are avid woods/trail enthusiasts, especially when it comes to trail running. Today, (original placement of the box), happened to be our 13 year anniversary. To celebrate, we placed two boxes -- Mr. Puddin' and Mrs. Puddin'

Directions:
Follow directions to the dirt parking area at Bluff Point State Park in CT.

Enter the main carriage trail/pathway through the park and continue between two main signboards. Walk along this main path and stick to the right when you encounter your first slightly uphill left fork option.

Several minutes later, with views of the water on your right hand side, you'll come to a second Y/fork in the road. The left path offers an uphill climb again and the right remains flatter and hugs the water. At the junction of this fork is a white and red sign that reminds dog owners to keep their pets leashed. Approximately 115 meters past this sign, look for a fairly large boulder that has been "split" (note: this is NOT a play on words/double entendre with the marriage/anniversary theme here). Find Mrs. Puddin' hiding alone between the split rocks, awaiting her other half. NOTE: be sure to stamp Mrs. Puddin' off to the left hand side of the page in your log book (you'll see why this is necessary later). BE CAREFUL, YOU ARE RIGHT ALONG THE MAIN PATH AND CAN/WILL BE SPOTTED BY MANY OTHER PASSERSBY. Please be discrete and rehide the box well.

To find Mr. Puddin', continue along this main carriage road/trail all the way out to the main point and bluff. Stroll around here but be sure to pause and admire the amazing views of the Sound, Fishers Island, Long Island and the numerous light houses in the area.

Wind back around the main path for a while until you begin to head north again. After a period of time and a few twists and turns, you'll find another sign that leads to a very short path, denoting another large rock and "sunny" location. Although the name is somewhat misleading, (view is blocked by trees), circle around this rather large structure until you find another "split rock" as you did before with Mrs. Puddin', yet a smaller version. Careful here as you'll have to tread off the main path and deal with minor briars. After finding Mr. Puddin in the split rock, be sure to stamp carefully in his log book with YOUR stamp and stamp him into YOUR logbook.

There is a slight twist here, if you are able to do so and were very careful when you stamped Mrs. Puddin', you should be able to stamp Mr. Puddin' here right next to his lovely bride to make one larger completed image.

Did you do it? Are they happy?

Return back down this main path until you wind downhill back to the main parking lot.
